Our Editorial Review Methodology

At BrowselySprot, we conduct qualitative editorial reviews of blocking software. We do not use arbitrary rating scales out of 10, nor do we assign star ratings, as the effectiveness of these tools is highly subjective and depends heavily on user hardware and behavior.

Evaluation Criteria

• Platform Support: Which devices does the software genuinely support without excessive workarounds?
• Friction Level: How difficult is it to uninstall the software in a moment of impulse?
• Database Maintenance: For gambling-specific tools, is the database updated regularly?
• User Interface: Is the tool accessible for individuals who are not technically inclined?
